Mississippian Muleshoe mud mound west Texas.
Mississippian reef-like structures are common in some areas like West Texas and New Mexico. The mounds are primarily made up of mud with some bryozoans. Excellent examples of these structures can be seen in West Texas, New Mexico, England, and New South Wales, Australia
