This quarry is covered by the golf course in Currie Park. These photographs show the quarry in the 1930's. Note the even, nearly horizontal bedding of the interreef deposits in the quarry face on the left side of the photograph below. The quarry was filled by 1950. Currie Park Quarry also known as: Milwaukee City Quarry Milwaukee County Quarry City Quarry Municipal Quarry County Quarry Zimmerman Quarry.
